  • LIST OF WORKERS EXPOSED TO OCCUPATIONAL HAZARDS WHO ARE SUBJECT TO COMPULSORY PRE- AND PERIODIC MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS 

    The list is drawn up in accordance with the list of hazardous work, the list of potentially hazardous installations, the Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania "On preventive medical check-ups in health care establishments", the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania No. 544 (new wording of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania No. 1145) "On the approval of a list of workplaces and areas of activity in which it is permitted to work for workers who have been checked for infectious diseases only after having been examined beforehand and then periodically, and of a procedure of medical check-ups of these workers".

    Filling in a personal medical booklet (health passport)

    The personal medical record (Health Passport) (F 048/a) must contain a photograph of the person, authenticated by the employer's stamp and the signature of the employer (or his/her authorised representative), and must additionally indicate: length of service in the occupation (in years), the harmful agents and their magnitudes, the hazardous activities at the specific workplace, the annual doses of radiation exposure (for workers working with sources of ionising radiation). The person representing the employer or authorised by the employer, when sending a worker for health screening, must refer to Table 1 of this Guidance Note: 'Work included in the list of hazardous work for which health screening is compulsory for work and/or recruitment. Frequency and extent of checks. Additional contraindications' and Table 2: 'Procedure for compulsory medical examinations at the time of admission to work and/or when working under the influence of harmful risk factors (in some cases following a change of job or workplace)'. The hazardous work or risk factors referred to in the first columns of the tables and identified in the workplace in question shall be entered in the person's medical record (F No 048/a) by the employer's representative or a person authorised by him. The sequential number of the tables shall correspond to the number of the hazardous work or risk
