Diode laser
The diode laser operates at a wavelength of 808 nm. This longer wavelength allows deeper penetration into the skin, theoretically avoiding melanin in the skin epidermis and therefore directing it to the hair follicles.

Theoretically, longer wavelengths help prevent skin damage and pigmentation changes that can occur with shorter wavelength lasers. The diode laser is great for coarse, dark hair, making it a good choice for removing back or bikini line hair.
